Windows Vista 発売
カーネルも大幅に進化するとのことで色んなメディアに特集されたVistaが発売。
秋葉原や日本橋では深夜販売もあるのでその速報もある。
盛り上がりに欠けてるというか、メディアが周りで騒いでるだけのような感じ。
従来と違って高いスペック要求にユーザーの高い要求に応えられるのか判らない今、ただの人柱じゃないかと思うわけで。
βの時に触ってから大分経つけど、実際何処まで改善されたのかは雑誌とか情報を得る事ができるが、メディアの目ではなくユーザーでの感想が聞きたいと思うわけで。
ハードウェアベンダーもここぞとばかりにVista対応という謳い文句で商品を出しているが、どちらにせよ様子見かな。
Intel、45nmプロセスの次期CPU「Penryn」の試作に成功
CPUもクアッドコアやら最新型やら現われるのは楽しみだが、手は出せないんだよなあ。
今はそれよりファイル退避の援護をせねば！
